1. A long life Japanese friend just came back from Bali. Here is the message:
Wed, 18 Dec 2002 13:14:31 +0900 �- Thank you very much for your information,and my wife and I came back Bali yesterday morning after spending 6 days at Bali,and I spend more than 300,00 yen in Bali. I was surprised that very few tourist come to Bali and only about 20-30% of hotel rooms occupied. I sincerely hope that Bali shall be come back soon like before.

3. Confession from the person who dropped the bomb: I want to kill American as much as possible.

4. Recently we met three Japanese women separately in a different places in Tokyo and made us very surprise. Yes, they knew Bali island but they didn't acknowledge the bomb in Bali, "Oh, really? It is true there is a bomb?" asked them to us. They said the job makes them very busy and even no time to see TV or reading the newspaper.

The news of Bali for about one week is broascasted and published in all mass media in Japan. It was really surprising us, there're still some persons don't know about Bali Tragedy.

5. Initial plan to hand over the Humaninatian Fund to Balinese people as follows;

December 25 : Go to Denpasar, Bali directly by Garuda Indonesia
December 25: Arrive at Bali and staying in Bali Hotel, Kuta, near location the incident on October 12, 2002.
December 26: Around 10am Press Conference fo about 1 hour.
December 26: Around 11am, go directly to the victims's family to hand over the Fund, then viewing the tragedy's location.
December 27: Going back to Tokyo, Japan

ここに同封いたしましたプレスリリースは、2002年10月にバリのクタにて起こった 
爆弾事件の犠牲者家族を救う基金に関するものです。 
ご存知のように、この事件での総死者数は200名あまりにものぼりました。 
その半数はインドネシア人で、その他に約70名のオーストラリア人、2名の日本人 
などが犠牲になりました。 
バリ島には今、悲劇的な事件に巻き込まれた家族の突然の死によって、今後の生活 
に大きな不安を抱いている妻や子供たちがいます。インドネシア人被害者とその 
家族に対して、経済的な支援が必要であると私たちは考えています。 
またこのプレスリリースは、基金を募るためだけではなく、同時に、日本人の 
皆様にアジアの隣国インドネシアの現状に目を向けていただくためでもあります。 
私たちは、爆弾事件の後、東京で少なくとも3人の女性と会いました。日々の仕事 
に追われる彼女たちは、バリの悲劇について全く聞いたことがないと話していまし 
た。もちろん彼女たちはバリ島の存在を知らないというわけではありません。 
この事実は、日本の皆様のインドネシアに対する認識について私たちを驚かせました。 
このような理由により、皆様のメディアを通じてこのニュースリリースを 
できるだけ早く社会に広めるため、私たちは皆様のご協力を切実に必要としています。

被害者とは、テロで亡くなった人か、障害を受けた人も含むのか、
仕事を失った人まで含むのか？　救済の対象範囲を教えてください。

Answer:
Depend on money/fund...です。
亡くなった方、直接被害にあった方をはじめ、その家族、特には子供達に...。
救済はお金だけではない！と思う方もいるでしょう。
しかし、金額はその範囲に密接に関わってきます。
正直にいって、あまり集まっておりません。
私はインドネシア人なので、日本では、お金を集める事は、
なかなか大変です。

というのもあります。
だそうです。

Answer:
私はインドネシア人のジャーナリスト。
マスコミの関係みな友だち手伝いだけ。
No group only personal responsible as 
Indonesian citizen helping my brothers 
and sisters, an innocent people, 
they have to sacrify for worldwide terorist attack.
It is just a humanitarian approach.

続けて質問です（ヘンな質問だったらすみません）。
 
 　二泊三日のバリ滞在ということは、寄付金を届けるためだけに
 バリへ行くということですか？　お仕事も兼ねてでしょうか？
 （その寄付やバリの現状について、メディアに流すなど。）
 　その渡航費用などの経費は、私費か社費ということなのでしょうか？
 
 　あと、ジャーナリストの方だということでお聞きしたいのですが、
 インドネシア人犠牲者やその家族に対する補償というのは、
 インドネシア政府からはどの範囲、どの程度でなされたか、
 またはなされる予定（あるいはなされない？）なのでしょうか？
 　ご存知でしたら教えて下さい。

Answer:
1. To Bali only to give the donation to the family of 
the Bali bombing victims.
2. Airlines and hotel from friends helping me.
3. NO donation money for my expenses. What you have seen at 
http://LoveBali.Com, ALL will be donated. NOT a single yen for me.
4. Government accept some donation from other country for Bali. 
Private sectors in Indonesia also helping Bali. 
Usually no insurance covered by Indonesian people. 
They have to rely on their own ability and capability 
to survive and also depend on help from neighbors.
5. For me, what could I do to help my people, I should do it, 
not depending on government. My people crying, I'm also crying. 
Who else should help them if not from our own people. 
Certainly assistance from other people of the world is 
greatly appreciates and well welcomed!

　私もサイトを急いで読み通しただけでしたので、あと、
外国語の部分もあったこともあり、読み落としがあったかもしれません。 

　私の質問は、ヘルプの方たちを疑ってのものではありません
（例えば、他の用事のついでに行って、渡航費用を寄付金から払うとか、
疑ったのではありません）。
　ただ、私費で、寄付金を渡すためだけに行かれるのだとしたら、
寄付金が少なかったら大変なのでは、と「気になった」だけなのです。 

　メディアに流すのが目的か、と疑ったのでもありません。
そうでなくて、バリ在住の信頼できる人に送金というかたちでなく、
ジャーナリストであるあなた自身が直接行かれるのだから、
そういう目で見たレポートを、ぜひメディアに流して欲しいと、
逆に思ったのです。 

　もし誤解されているのなら、すみませんでした。

よく考えると、そう思いました。 

　おそらく、Bali　Japanさんは、当時から現場や病院などで
犠牲者や犠牲者の家族の方々に深くかかわってこられたのだと思います。
その惨状を知っていてはこのまま放っておけないというお気持ち、
想像を逞しくして改めて理解しました。 

　ですから、ただ送金するというのでなく、
私費で飛行機代をかけてご自分で持って行かれるというのは、
お金が正しく行き渡るようにというのもあるでしょうが、
家族の方々を直接見舞いたいという気持ちが一番にあってのこと
なのだと思いました。
　ご家族の方々も、その気持ちに喜ばれることと思います。 

　Bali　Japanさんの立場をよく理解しておりませんで、
不躾な質問をしてしまい、すみませんでした。
